EGP Council in Berlin

This weekend I will be one of Alternattiva Demokratika – The Green Party‘s delegates at the European Greens Party (EGP) Council in Berlin. A lot will be happening this weekend, from the EGP choosing their leading candidates to the launch of EGP’s campaign plan for the elections! Dan il-weekend aktar minn 500 delegat minn madwar l-Ewropa kollha qegħdin jiltaqgħu f’Berlin għall-Kunsill tal-Partit tal-Ħodor Ewropew (European Green Party). Imma ftit huma nieqsa, peress li d-delegati Torok minn Yeşil Sol Parti kellhom il-passaporti tagħhom ikkonfiskati fl-ajruport u ma tħallewx jivvjaġġaw. Il-Partiti Ħodor ikomplu jiġġieldu flimkien għad-demokrazija u kontra r-reġim ta’ terrur ta’ Erdogan. Nesprimu solidarjetà mal-attivisti u l-politiċi Torok, u ngħajjtu “Illiberawhom u ħalluhom jivvjaġaw!”*

* This weekend there are over 500 delegates at the European Greens Party Council in Berlin. There are a few missing though, as the Turkish delegates from Yeşil Sol Parti had their passports confiscated at the airport and were not allowed to travel. The Greens continue to fight together for democracy and against Erdogans regime of terror. Solidarity with Turkish activists and politicians, we say Free them all. Let them travel. #EGP29
